Loss & Damage Protection

Your PitPat wearable device comes with our Limited Warranty that protects you against faults in materials and workmanship for a fixed time after your purchase.

If you have our optional additional Accidental Loss & Damage Protection, your protection is enhanced in accordance with these terms:

  • If your PitPat wearable device is accidentally lost or damaged while the protection is active, you may be entitled to a replacement device.

  • We may ask you for reasonable information about what happened, so that we can decide whether you are entitled to a replacement. If you don’t provide that information, we may not be able to approve a replacement.

  • If we agree to replace your lost or damaged PitPat device, this will normally be with the same model as your original. If that model isn’t available, we’ll offer you a similar model with equivalent features. 

  • We don’t offer any cash refund, credit or other compensation, and you may not choose an alternative replacement (even by paying any difference in price).

  • You can receive no more than one replacement in any rolling 365-day period.

  • We may refuse a replacement if we reasonably believe the loss or damage was caused by:

    • normal wear and tear, including rechargeable battery degradation;

    • theft or unauthorised use by any other person;

    • neglect, misuse, improper storage, carelessness, unusual stress, abuse or failure to follow instructions;

    • unauthorised alteration, modification or opening of the device;

    • water damage if the product has been opened;

    • use with unsuitable devices, software or services;

    • use for medical, healthcare, treatment or commercial purposes; or

    • any use that breaches our applicable terms and conditions.

  • We may also refuse you a replacement if we reasonably believe that you are being dishonest, fraudulent or not acting in good faith.

To make a claim for a replacement device, simply contact us by phone or email and give us details of the circumstances of the loss or damage. We will respond in accordance with our normal customer support terms.

This protection is optional and we offer it alongside your legal rights. Nothing in these terms limits or replaces your rights under any consumer law.


Changes

We may make changes to these terms in accordance with our General Terms of Use.
